For me, Pokemon ended at generation four. It felt like the complete story at that point. The finale. Gen 1 and 2 were Dragonball, and Gen 3 and 4 were Dragonball Z. It was perfectomundo. Gen 5 was still lit but it doesn't feel like the same timeline in my honest opinion; the design philosophy of the franchise and the overarching plot was no longer focused on the original Japan-centric concept Tajiri crafted in the 90s. Gen 5 is GT. And XY and SM And LGBT are Super. Take these comparisons as you will. They are subjective.
Anyway, I want a new timeline that branches off of that Gen 1-4 timeline. Gens 1 thru 4 are based on Post-war japan. But what if there were Pokemon games based in pre-ww2? that I would like to see. Or maybe Medieval Japan.
