Why does /vp/ insist pokemon with realistic graphics would be a bad idea when they claim the reason why early gens have the best designs is because they were the most "realistic"?

Two different applications of realism. Realistic graphics would be bland as hell and look like 80% of the other games on the market. RGBY's down to earth plot was good because it made it more believable.
