Any Pokemon originating from Gen 2-7 aside from Mega Evolutions and remaining Alolan Forms for Gen 1 Pokemon is now wholly expected to take a backseat as a minor character to make way for a whole bunch of episodes pertaining exclusively to Gen 1 Pokemon that Alola hasn't given the spotlight to yet, with plenty of episodes for Eevee so it can showcase the moves from LGPE and Pikachu dropping Electroweb for one of its own moves.
