All games can in fact be for a large audience, Pokémon included. Pokémon especially. It's just a matter of the developers taking the goddamn time to do it right and make the options available.
They've given up on something they don't need to have given up on. They just need to demand more of Game Freak. Even if I don't play Gen 8 - which, especially with the cloud save bullshit is seeming unlikely at this point because that alone is a deal breaker for me as I'm not willing to risk a decade and a half of Pokémon thanks to their fuckery - I will never stop criticizing them for the shit they've done/will be doing.
Why people think it's okay to accept bullshit from companies I don't understand.
It's one thing if you're whining about something you would never buy like the social justice types do, but if you are willing to give a company your money and aren't because they fucked up or have given them your money and the product was bad you have every right and very good reason to complain.
For both of your sakes. You want a good product and they want your money. Giving up satiates no one in that equation.
