You're not the only one OP, I've loved her for the past 6 years since she was introduced.
She should have been in Alola instead of Ryuki.

Doesn't help that she was introduced at the tail-end of Gen 5, during the shortest period ever between Generations. It's a shame, because had she been in B/W, I actually suspect she would have been Ash's travelling companion for the anime.
Think about it, it's obvious that B/W were struggling with who to make the travelling companions, because they wanted to keep the audience targeted to kids, but most of the B/W characters were older teens. They also wanted to bring back the Brock/Misty dynamic, so they took Cilan as Brock, and then took the only loli character in B/W and retconned her personality to be more like Misty.
If Roxie was in B/W, they most likely would have chosen her to be the tomboyish companion close to Ash's age instead.
Then in X/Y they had nobody so they just de-aged Serena. But still, an entire Generation with Roxie as a lead character? Would have been kino.
