>>36650465The NNID can be connected to your Nintendo Account and has been since almost a year before the Switch even launched.
Your Nintendo account knows everything you did with your NNID once that happens and that would include everything Bank. All it needs is a Switch-side version of the app.
This, by the way, is why they went with the game rental bullshit with the online. They knew they'd have to give people their VC titles for free for the first time ever since the Switch knows what you bought on the Wii U and 3DS unlike past systems whose accounts were standalone.

>NNIDNintendo Network ID, the system used 3DS and Wii U. It can be shut down and parts of it like Miiverse already have been. It likely won't be fully shut down any time soon for sure but it definitely can be.
>Nintendo AccountThe future of Nintendo online services this one is intended to stick around. It can be set up with and/or linked to an NNID. As long as you've got a username and password on the Nintendo Account itself you can also unlink the associated NNID. You can also merge funds from any connected NNID into a Nintendo Account, though the NNID loses access to the merged funds if unlinked,
>Switch profileThese are the user selections you set up on the Switch itself. This can be connected to a Nintendo Account which further gains access to any information on the connected NNID (as previously mentioned things like the funds and the friend list and purchase history). As of 6.0.0 you can no longer disconnect an NA from a profile once cnnected though. You can add your profile and log in to download your Switch software/saves on ANY Switch now so the purchases are tied to the profile instead of the system.
