Scyther's already great with Eviolite since it has the same BST as Scizor, but Bug/Flying ain't great defensively. It would be sick now.

Unless an NFE is almost as fast as its evolution, none of them. And even then, why?
Why would I want to use offensive eviolite Kadabra over Life Orb Alakazam? The slight speed increase is definitely not worth the damage decrease.
Eviolite is good because the closest thing to an item FE Pokemon can hold is Ass Vest, and even then, only a few Pokemon use it.
It may be used in ZU, PU, NU, and maybe RU, but it will be shit everywhere else.

I don't really see most pre-evos making a splash compared to their competitors. Some seem like real diamonds in the rough. Haunter in particular seems really strong.

>Kadabra: Similar offences to Mega Alakazam, but notably lacks Focus Blast. Could be a viable pick if you don't want to occupy the mega while outspeeding most things.
>Electabuzz: Compared to Life Orb Zeraora, it has worse bulk, worse attacking stats, worse moves, and worse ability. It does outspeed base 145-150s though.
>Scyther: It would have some pretty solid offenses and with 440 Speed + Swords Dance it could be an okay sweeper as pretty much nothing non-scarfed will outspeed it. It's also a Bug/Flying type with only average defenses so I don't really see it having that much of an impact. Might be a very niche sweeper.
>Golbat: It's basically a better version of Crobat. Better offenses, not much less bulk, although not being able to run a z-move could hurt it.
>Haunter: Seems really good. With a Modest nature it outdamages Life Orb Gengar by a hair while also outspeeding base 145s. Again no Focus Blast, but it does regain Levitate which is great.

It’d probably be fine if it actually had some good coverage. It gets jack shit for special moves even though it has Nasty Plot for boosting, and its only notable physical coverage is Crunch and Acrobatics, which it couldn’t use anyways because of the hypothetical item.
