It's Regigigas.
His viability is below Band Slaking and Eviolite Vigoroth because of Slow Start.
Why Regi? Because unlike most other shitmons, Regi is supposed to be a legendary trio master. Legends, especially trio masters and box legends, are intentionally made broken. There's no excuse for him being a shitmon.

Bug is the worst attacking type in the game. Anyone who isn't a retard is going to switch in a pokemon that resists bug on golisopod (which is 98% of the fucking pokedex) and then use a rapid spin to force that pussy out to have to come back in on more stealth rock damage

Use a water move if you think they'll switch in a type that resists it. Throw in a poison or steel move for fairy coverage and Leech Life to get your health back.
It's a bulky revenge killer and its ability lets it pivot.

Yeah, unless they win the prediction game and attack instead of switching, forcing you out anyways. If Golisopod's playstyle is so reliant on the prediction game, I'd rather use a pokemon that doesn't get attacked AND forced out when it loses.

Then there's the fact that it practically NEEDS aqua jet, in which case it is hard to justify liquidation or else there goes half of your move slots.

And making emergency exit at the end of the turn would still make it a fun gimmick. Having it activate immediately is a fucking annoying handicap though. Maybe then I wouldn't have to sacrifice half of my moveset to priority.

I was able to use Golisopod pretty well in the Battle Tree. Emergency Exit gives me a free switch in for a Pokemon that would really want it (like Multiscale Dragonite).
