Staraptor is stupidly busted in lower tiers than OU because its a powerful kamikaze bird, and not in the typical kamikaze lead role, no, this is a 9/11 tier kamikaze, everytime it gets suspect tested, it always turns out to be able to sweep through teams or break through everything with ease, or even stallbreak.

That's one of the reasons I started playing ubers. Speed tiers aren't as fucked as in OU. Yeah there's Deoxys and Mewtwo, but everything's really bulky and the most common scarf user kills them easily.

Staraptor is perfectly usable is OU though. I did all right for a while with it on a birdspam team with Mega Pinsir, and the Tapu-Koko Hawlucha combo trick. Nice thing about Staraptor is that with a Choice Band it can still OHKO Landorus after the Intimidate drop.

Staraptor does decently well on Sticky Web teams too. There are better things for sure, like Mega Pinsir, but if you wanted you use your mega slot on something else on your Web team Staraptor is an all right choice.

Autism. Starapter unironically one hits on resisted fucking tanks after stealth rock if choice banded. It's job isn't to be fast in the first place although sticky web makes it even better. Come back when you actually know how to abuse one of the hardest hitting wallbreakers thanks to reckless
