Take him through the whole game! I did in Silver. He's what the kids are calling a "shit on" nowadays. But who gives a fuck? He's cool and the enemies in the games are all easy anyway.

I say train him up and take him to Battle tower.

headbutt plus glare is really strong. it allows him to take on things above his strength pretty handily. plus he's customisable with good tms including iron tail, dig, rollout, attract and being able to get both flamethrower and thunderbolt from move tutor in the post game (sp attack is only 5 points of attack so its worth it). Combined with his base 100 hp stat he can take some decent hits. He only really struggles against really bulky mons that he can't punch through. I love using dunsparce and you can very easily use him as a substitute starter.

I have used it in several ways. One moveset was rollout, roost, coil, move of choice. I just used this to mow down entire teams after setting up and it's a lot stronger than you may think.
