What if these games were priced more appropriately at $20 or $30 including the pokeball plus? How would fans react compared to now?

Yeah I'd be down if it was that cheap. Especially if Switch modding reaches the point where it's possible to make the game actually challenging (or at least respect the player enough to figure out water beats fire on their OWN).

I'll enjoy it only for the fact that I'm pirating it and I like the overworld stuff with roaming pokemon, following pokemon, etc.

I'm spending 200 dollars on a pair of custom joycons rather than spending 250 on the custom switch bundle like I was planning to.

I just don't think the game's worth it, nor will I want to play this one online with others.

I'd definitely buy it for the reasons I listed playing it for, if not for the fact that there will already be hacked pokemon in circulation due to CFW

The price point is what's preventing me from being even remotely interested, after all the trailers and such showing how shallow it is. If it was $20, $30, or even $40, maybe. But $60 plus another $50 for a glorified Go Plus XL is a major dealbreaker.
Not only that, but who the hell are they actually going to expect to buy a $110 bundle? Kids?
