It's something a little kid would want to do. Among other things little kids like to do are:

>Having an all legendary party
>Having an all starter party (with starters from multiple generations)

Did it once for a BW2 run. It's really no different than using anything else though, they're just Pokemon like any others.

Did it in gen 2 with the glitch. Pretty enjoyable. Three Pokemon is a good amount imo. No need to grind and you don't really get overleveled.

Never, nor do I have any intention on doing it.
Although if I ever did it would be only gen 3 starters since I like them all.
