Remember, May didn't feel anything when she learn Brianna's feeling for Drew and even playfully teased Drew about this. She only start blushing after Brianna claimed that Drew might likes her. So the whole blushing moment probably came from the thing Brianna said rather than her feeling for Drew. After all, you would feel jumpy around a friend if somebody tell you that he/she might like you.
I feel that May feeling for Drew is more like Ash's feeling toward Gary which is basically admiration toward their rival.
Plus, it would be much better if May and Drew decide to stay rival since their goal is to crash each other goal, This probably why Ash never gets a female main rival as his love interest even after AG series.
