I don't see how french vanilla is supposed to be better. But yeah shame GF ended up being so conservative, even if that is remake MO to a point. The Gyms are up to modern par and the few other updates all look good, but most of it is Hoenn's microbiomes 1:1, which are still good but naturally look silly.
