Hello everyone. I have received information from several sources within The Pokemon Company and GameFreak regarding the 2019 Pokemon titles and another future game that I will reveal information for later on. Disclaimer: I am only posting information for these two games specifically, so no Smash leaks here.

Let's begin.

>These two games will have 92 brand new pokemon, including the recently announced Meltan
>The new region, the Varmos region, will be based on Australia
>The region itself will be entirely open world
>The levels of wild pokemon will now be entirely based on the level of the player's first pokemon in the party. For example, if you have a lv. 5 pokemon first in your party in the first route, you will encounter a lv. 2-4 Pidgey. However, if you have a lv. 80 pokemon in the first route, you will encounter a lv. 74-78 Pidgeot instead. This system allows the player to explore the region in any order they see fit. This rule will also apply to Trainers and Gym Leaders as well.

I mean, this is obviously fake but I wish it was real since a lot of the stuff sounds cool. Open world region with party based level scaling, new megas, overworld HUD, etc would be good additions. What I'm really hoping for in gen 8 is for pokemon with ridiculous stats to be scaled down proportionately to other mons in order to reduce the power creep, but that will never happen.
