Mega with DD would be busted. Mega Chomp is bulky enough to easily eat a hit to set up and nothing is living it's hits after it does

Yes. I think people are missing that DD and SD sets would have way different checks which makes it even better

Sure Zygarde has 1k arrows which wrecks shit but Zygarde is also a completely different mon than chomp, and Garchomp also has a higher base speed and higher base ATK stat. And while this has nothing to do with viability, Sand Veil would make chomp hilariously stupid.
