Honestly, Dawn wasn't much of a character. Aside from her childhood friends she had nothing to over come, or even anything close to a personality. She was just a normal girl who only has embaressment over childhood memories that only two people know about.
Take May for example, she had interests like shopping, the little brother dynamic, and a demanding personality.
I like Dawn the most too, but dam they really did almost nothing with her.
