GF skips Gen 5 remakes in favor of Gen 6 remakes. How would you feel? Personally, I wouldn't mind since XY deserve remakes more than BW.

BW are already great games and were improved with BW2. If they remade them today they would be trash just like ORAS.
Meanwhile anything on XY would be an improvement

Gen 5 is already good as it is, it doesn't need to be remade anyway.
Though personally I'd rather we go the B2W2 route and do sequels instead of remakes.
I'm pretty tired of running through re-releases and remakes of the same story with some small changes here or there.

The retarded decisions that went into making Gen 5 is what caused the genwun pandering and casualization in recent gens, which ultimately led to LGPE. Hope you're happy.

With the direction Pokemon has been going, skipping the Gen 5 remake would be a good thing. I don't want them ruining Unova like they did with Hoenn.

the thing is it would be on the switch. so they have a chance to do more with the remakes. I just want to see how greedy they can be not putting out an official battle simulator, leaving out fan wanted content, adding bullshit 3d models instead of real content

ORAS killed all of my hypes for remake. I don't want any because i just don't want to see regions becoming empty 3D spaces without soul and simplified fights with more anime multidimensional story stuck to it.

Yeah, they could do more with remakes on the Switch...that's if they decide to do more. HGSS were really good remakes since they pretty much merged GSC, improved it and added more onto it like the Battle Frontier, bonus story etc.
Meanwhile, years later on a stronger console, ORAS is an underwhelming remake, dumbing the game down compared to the original, not even merging the story with Emerald and it didn't even have the Battle Frontier because of a really stupid reason.
Gen 6 needs an enhanced version though. That shit is the worst Pokemon games in existence.

The last original Pokemon game was Ruby and Sapphire. Literally every game since has been a reskin of that story or a remake of RB/GS
