>>36715439The music is beautiful and I like the occasional eerie moments scattered throughout. I like the atmosphere of Sinnoh and the characters are pretty good, for Pokemon. I actually like the cosmic storyline. Even if the legendaries themselves seem ridiculously godlike, there's still an element of mystery to them. It's too bad we'll probably only get a copy paste remake, since a sequel could be pretty intriguing.
There's a lot of awkwardness and I'm not fond of most of the new evolutions of older mons. As a kid I was really disappointed by Pearl; I felt like Pokemon should have evolved more as a series. Now that I know that Pokemon just isn't going to grow all that meaningfully, I can appreciate Gen 4's quaint but kooky vibe in comparison to other gens.
