>>36724295depends on the Pokemon. Assuming pokeballs don't exist because that's too easy and if we had that tech we'd probably use it for transporting goods instead of trapping living things inside.
Bellsprout/just fucking plants pretty much take care of themselves. They need sunlight/water and maybe the occasional bug.
most bug pokemon are pretty easy to. just gotta be careful around the poison types.
shit like pidgey, eevee, meowth, goldeen. are just regular pets.
then we get to things like pikachu, eeveelutions, charmander. These are pretty much pet tier but require a bit of extra care and safety measures. other pokemon in this tier would be ones just based off animals that already need a bit of work to keep as pets, like ekans/arbok.
Now we have ones you could keep but would require alot of care and investment either because of food/shelter/space they need but still doable by real live standards. Tauros, Rapidash/Ponyta, Rhyhorn etc.
Then we get to zoo tier shit where you'd probably need a trained staff and enclosure to take care of them.
Kangaskhan, Snorlax, seel, dewgong, magmar, pincer, scyther, lapras.
Then there's pokemon you'd need like...a lab to properly care for. Some of these maybe a person COULD do but they would need alot of equipment for.
Grimer, magneton, voltorb, fossil pokemon, porygon.
pokemon we wouldn't really need to care for, they are either smart enough to do their own thing or would live among us...as like weird animal pokemon people.
Machamp, hitmonlee, jynx, alakazam, golem, mr mime, the ghosts
then theres pokemon you would be best avoiding. at all costs. and/or have no chance of domestication.
legendaries, mewtwo, mew, gyarados.
ditto is ditto. can the the easiest or hardest for obvious reasons
Nearly impossible for dumb reasons
This final one is for 3 pokemon that has a trait that would make them near impossible to care for.
Abra. It just fuckin teleports all the time.
diglett and dugtrio, they are always digging
