Reminder that no matter how much you hate LGPE, and even if you like USUM, that doesn't change the fact that USUM is by far the lazier game. LGPE's laziness couldn't dream of even coming close to USUM's laziness.

If there's a greatest tragedy in human history, it's that USUM's shittiness will get completely drowned out by LGPE haters. People will probably look back on USUM fondly because they have such a hate boner for the shitty go spinoff

BW2 weren't lazy.

Otherwise yes most third versions are lazy, but at least they added post game and focused on adding new content for the hardcore fanbase that buys the games 2 or even 3 times. Then you get USUM which wasted its development resources into changing old content instead of adding new content so that the hardcore fanbase just gets some fanfic and nothing else to do after beating the game

It is post game. It's pathetically lazy though. Even if you like Rainbow Rocket, it's literally just a bunch of generic trainers that only required 2 new models, and some lazy ass wall/ground textures for the stupid hallways that compose the whole episode. Maybe they redid the models for the boss trainers and that's the only thing that might have taken effort

The only credit of effort I'll give that game, but it's still just one battle facility.

It's still straw grasping as it's a huge piece of shit not worth defending, but if you want to argue on objective laziness, then that's the only thing the game has.

This is where the enhanced versions should be putting their resources into though. The campaigns are fine, they shouldn't have all development hours into fixing what wasn't broken. Then that leaves the hardcore fanbase with barely anything to do after beating the game. Platinum had a battle frontier and tons of other little added things to do after beating the game. That being said, The gyms themselves were changed, there was new story, new sprites for every pokemon, the environmental tilesets were new, and more. USUM added some flowers on route one and the rest of the game was copy paste outside of new dialogue.

What about all of the new locations (5 towns/cities, volcano, Sewers, cave, underwater tunnel, 4 new routes, industrial complex, PWT, Pokestar Studios, and farm), new characters, new story and a much better pokedex? Apart from the fact it's the same generation and vastly updated region, it's almost a completely new game.

LGPE markets itself as what it is, a casualized version of a main series game. That's why I don't care how shitty it is.
USUM was supposed to be this grand update that actually made things worse and set the shit standard of new mons being delayed specifically so you would but the new 3rd version.
A complete fucking cashgrab that didn't even fix any of the problems present in SM
but honestly, I love that you can press Y on the options screen to save, HUGE QoL
