Game uses open source materials but the game itself isn't open source. So one of the people who made open source music that got used asked for his pieces to be removed since they felt it was against the spirit of open source and some people reacted poorly to it. Pretty tame, but i'm on the side of musicman. If you're making a fangame that you can't make money off of, there's no *tangible* reason to not make your work open source besides protecting your ego.

I'm pretty sure that's it but you could also assume there's some /pol/-tier tranny/nigger/kike/fag shit in there too, because after all its current year and there is no drama that isn't inherently linked to identity politics.

Lmfao I've been following ShockSlayer for years because I was interested in his portable mods. It was definitely made because of the hack. He was a nobody outside of the modding community before the hack blew up.

It's alright, but wild Pokemon levels don't scale which is fucking stupid.
I started in Pallet, went straight to Mt. Silver, caught a level 40-something Dodrio and blasted through everything until I got bored.

Lame. I had to grind gyms for hours just to beat the later gyms and the E4. They get as high as level 70.

It's pretty boring honestly, literally the only notable aspect is that you can make your gen 2 dream team right away. There's no story or sidequests to keep things fresh, it's just a 15 hour boss rush.

Really good, but the few OC characters feel out of place half the time. Some are inoffensive, others a tad annoying. Luckily they're all optional (so far at least, assuming none are injected into the E4 or anything), and none are as bad as Reborn/Rejuv trash.

This hack does A LOT more than what people here give it credit for.

You're able to give your mon's event moves and have an in game NPC make that Pokemon legal to use on cart for trades and other things with an official cart. ALSO, you are able to see the DVs of wild Pokemon after upgrading your Pokedex at Cinnabar island.
TMs are single use, BUT they are easily reobtained.

I just need Crystal Clear, but in RBY flavor so I'd have the patience to build a Gen 1 showdown team on cart. Then give a proper attempt to the Pokemon Stadium games
