Pretty sure I'm over 350 eggs in for Deino. It's been a 2.5 week drought.

Over 1,860 eggs for Carbink in X. If I'd known I could SOS it in Gen 7, I wouldn't have Masuda'd it.

X. I cannot fucking stand Gen 7's RNG. I shouldn't have to go over 1,010 eggs with no results, but then again, Carbink was in Gen 6 with over triple odds (Charm included). My point still stands about Gen 7.

I don't really know. I've actually been playing Earthbound (SNES) for the first time lately. I like grinding and leveling so I'm having a lot of fun with it. What should I hunt when I go back to Pokemon?

I know it's not insane within the community we've got here, because we have folks who hunt on Colosseum and GoD, but my longest hunt was 13,251 resets for Buzzwole in Ultra Sun.

Don't have an overall favourite (cop out but yeah, like too many to just pick one)
Before this, I'd have said a Bagon hunt that took me 6 weeks due to me being an idiot spastic mostly I had actually found and caught shiny Suicune 2 days ago, then got caught up in other shit and ended up with a "The game card was removed" screen, so I'm back on the bull and finding it before next week.

Frankly I never got into shiny hunting seriously, but I'll share my most insane shiny luck instead- 3 Friend Safari shinies within minutes of each other. No shiny charm either. Ended up getting shiny Sliggoo trying to discover what a safari had in it, decided to try another safari and got Bergmite about 3 encounters in, and when I dared to try a third safari I found a shiny Paras. I decided to stop playing the rest of the day because I was having a hard time believing my luck.

Trevenant anon here, I got it to spawn! A bit nervous since I've only gotten one horde shiny before, but I managed to isolate it without killing it. Tossing balls at it right now, trying to get it in a Premier Ball first.

what do you mean? gen6 and probably earlier gens had this as well, every egg has a TSV of 1-4096 and if it matches whatever your (hidden) trainer shiny value is it's a shiny. i still know what mine was on x
