Give up, GameFreak stopped caring about quality a decade ago because they know dipshits like you will eat this games up no matter how little effort is put into them, and each time they put less and less effort somehow. This looks lazier than the Secret of Mana PS4 remake.

The MC's overworld model is literally incapable of showing emotion. The in-battle model (the one used during certain cutscenes) has an actual mouth, which allows for SOME emotion, but they still have those dead eyes.

I just finished Xenoblade 2 and never noticed characters turning while standing before running. I'm not necessarily saying it doesn't happen, but if it does then Monolith sure hides it better than Gamefreak does.
