I would prefer if her husband had any presence in the anime.
I was watching Durarara and though to myself, what if Ash's father was somebody like Akabayashi. A charismatic, laid back and relaxed man with incredibly battling skill who seem to work for Yukuza. It would add a new dimension to the anime as Ash deals with his morally ambiguous father.
