Did you play SM before? If not, it's not gonna be good, but there are some enjoyable things to look forward to.
If you already played SM it's gonna be the same game and even more boring since it's your second playthrough.

Too much dialogue/cutscenes, especially at the beginning.

The beginning of the game is mind numbing with the hand holding/tutorials/railroading/pointless and mindless cutscenes. If you already played Sun, then you have to do that shit twice. USUM probably are even slightly worse because now there's a photoclub tutorial, and added cutscenes for mantine surf, and a mandatory mantine surf tutorial, then doing a course of mantine surf to get to the second island instead of just watching a quick cutscene

This. I wouldn't even mind story focused pokemon games, but they are so poorly written. Almost nothing has any substance, and the characters almost never have any personality, and they just recycle the same tired themes "friendship is good! let's all work hard and work together with pokemon!"
