Honestly, they all are. Starters as a whole look less like fantastical creatures and more like animal-themed people by now.

At least Gen VI had the RPG Warrior/Mage/Thief theme, but Gen VII just looks like some kind of bizarre "choose your gender stereotype" scenario.

Digimon has been always cringey, both character design in the first seasons and wide majority of their monsters with muh guns, scares and shit and the generic slutty human looking creatures.

Sailor Moon monster and ayy lmao girls are far superior, so are Card Captor Sakura and even Tokyo Mew Mew (those meme anime eyes tho) and these series were mostly aimed to the female audience too.
