>>36756694My finest hour in competitive battling was on PBR back in 2008. It was my very first shitty EV-trained team vs someone with 6 ubers. Came down to my Jumpluff vs their Ho-Oh. I outsped and put it to sleep with Sleep Powder, then got up a Leech Seed next turn. My other two moves were Aerial Ace and Detect, so I knew exactly what I had to do. While I whittled down Ho-Oh's HP with Aerial Ace, I had to accurately predict when it'd wake up and use Detect on that turn. I managed to predict correctly EVERY SINGLE TIME until I eventually knocked it out with Aerial Ace. That guy must have been absolutely seething and I will never forget that battle for as long as I live. Unfortunately Mickey the Jumpluff has been lost to time but he'll always be my Ho-Oh slaying bro in spirit.
