We don’t need it. Physical attackers get better move sets and are less risky to use. Focus Blast and Fire Blast for instance can miss, whereas Close Combat/Superpower and Flare Blitz will not.
Physical = Low Risk, High Reward
Special = High Risk, High Reward

We have Charge Beam which is only 70% chance of it happening. Also those physical moves lower stats.
