Hello /vp/ i have some insider info about the games. Ill tell you all i know

-meltan is NOT the new pokemon, its part of gen 8 but theres another pokemon coming, a new eevee evolution that by looking at it seems to be either flying or normal

-the game will recieve $5 dlc in january for the baby pokemon for gen 2, will be obtained from pokemon go and special ingame eggs that can be dropped after catching their evolutions. (Pikachu drops pichu egg, etc)

Shinies for all pokemon except legendaries will be available at launch, but legendaries and mew are different and work like in GO. Every month following the games release, there will be a new shiny legendary added until april when mew is added

-gen 2 pokemon will be in the game data at launch, but wont be available until may for $5

-all moves that relate to items are removed or have the effects nullified (knock off is just a shitty version of night slash or crunch
