A fighting type Pursuit and a special Psychic Pursuit.
Hail boosts the Def of Ice types 50%
Hail doesn't damage fire types because the ambient heat of the fire types melts the hail and evaporates it
Defog removes all weather types as well as hazards
Fire types now resist Steel and Steel is now weak to Electric.
Grass types now heal 6% when hit by a powder move or Leech Seed.
Bug resists Fairy as well as Fairy resisting it.

Fog is now a weather for Flying types. increases accuracy of flying moves by 20%, I.E Hurricane goes from 70 acc to 90. Also decreases acc of physical moves by 20% and makes tailwind last 6 turns instead of 4. No Pokemon gets an auto-fog ability, but a new move called Morning Mist is added.
Volt Switch can only switch to other Pokemon with Volt Switch, same with U-turn.
Baton Pass also passes Status and afflictions like Curse, Perish Song, Attract, and Type changes via Soak, Trick or Treat, and Forest's Curse.

Singles doesn't change much, but doubles (and VGC too since incineroar is king there) become a game of chance perpetually spinning around who will use fake out and when. Ghost types, mons with inner focus, bruxish, tsareena, lele and anything that can set psychic terrain and by extension negate priority become much more abundant. Dunno if there are any fake out users with scrappy (besides kanga) or mold breaker, but those become more common as well in order to bypass the above mentioned. If you time or hide your fake out well enough, it can win you the game if your partner gets a free turn of set up as a result, so everybody will carry fake out users and anti-fake out measures.

I think. Maybe I'm overestimating the effect it would actually have.

Also for meta changes, I'd like to see what OU stall would be like if there was a physical chansey. Like, virtually the same HP, but def and Spdef switched; eviolite still works on it, but it doesn't have neither healing moves nor stealth rock. What stall staple would be removed in order to include this wall, if any?

Yikes. Thematically it makes sense but damn, that'd be fucked. Considering the small pool of mons this is, overall, usage of these moves would either plummet or usage of weaker mons with access to these moves would increase.

That was so that Hail doesn't suck ass as a team archetype. Rain has Water, Electric, and Hurricane. Sun has Fire, Grass, and most unreliable healing is boosted by Sun. Sand has Ground, Rock, Steel, and the best weather setters. Hail only has Ice and Aurora Veil.

It's not OP at all, it's kinda meh honestly because there are other abilities that give better boosts. Also, technically, it's more than a 10% boost because it erases the 10% decrease, THEN adds a 10% boost

Right now it just sucks dick, poetically just like Ice types themselves. I don't know why GF bothered adding a weather type that no one benefits from, back in Gen 3 the only hail-related ability was Castform's Forecast, and we only just got Slush Rush this gen (and only two fucking pokémon got access to it).

If it can phaze it'd probably see some use, but since physicals have more Knock Off and better boosting sets it wouldn't be on the same level as Chansey. If it can't phaze it's probably just worse than MAggron since you're trying to Seismic Toss (at best) down SD boosters and Zygarde, which is going to leave you really fucking weak even if you win while MAggron has damage output or Roar.

makes no fucking sense, the point of pursuit is the evil intent of wanting to hurt someone running away is what makes it stronger. fighters are honorable types so they wouldn't do something so malignant and it's against the very nature of psychics who are supposed to be clear minded which is what makes them weak to dark in the first place.

switching is too fundamental to pokemon to have a million different moves that all punish you for it. one is fine to make type dynamics more interesting, but even then you click pursuit on not-ghosts/psychics and run the move on non-darks like aero because the mechanic is just that good. why bother hitting your switch-in when you can just hit the thing you have an advantage against with the correct trapping move?

a good way to beat down any pokemon that's giving you trouble is to make it switch in on two or more of your own pokemon, like lando can take on mawile or terrakion but if it has to take on both it's in some shit. pursuit takes that concept and removes the need to make your opponent switch into two pokemon, you just hit their mon with a move as they switch in and hit it with pursuit as they switch out.

i'm not saying pursuit is overpowered or anything like that, but it's restricted by distribution and typing for a reason. the mechanics behind it are very powerful in the context of singles pokemon, and when you give that mechanic to every other pokemon and put it on a move that hits FIVE types SE instead of just two, you have a problem.

I've wanted these weather changes for a while, the rest is just spitballing:
Hail now boosts Attack AND Special Attack by 50% for Ice-types, since Ice is much better suited to be an offensive type than a defensive one.
Sand now boosts Defense AND Special Defense by 50% for Rock-types to match.
Dragon-types will not have their Attack lowered by Intimidate.
Fairy-types can infatuate opponents of any gender, even genderless 'mons. To compensate, Fairy is now weak to Bug.
Psychic-types cannot be Confused.
Bug-types get a 50% bonus to moves that have 40 BP or less; Attack Order is now three hits of 40 BP each that all have a high Critical Hit ratio. (Probably breaks Mega Heracross.)
Wild Charge is now an Electric-type Double-Edge. Volt Tackle now has 150 BP but still has 100 accuracy, a 10% chance to Paralyze, and 1/3 recoil damage.
Light Ball doubles ALL of Pikachu's stats.
Pokemon holding their species-specific Z-crystals get an additional 50% bonus to their highest stat until their trainer uses a Z move.
Mega Mewtwo Y now has Psychic Surge.
Mega Ampharos now has Electric Surge.
Mega Sceptile now has Grassy Surge.
Mega Audino now has Misty Surge.
Braviary now has Lieutenant Surge.
Mew now has Protean as a Hidden Ability.

Read the last clause of the OP again.
Besides, other than the Sand and Hail changes, I'm not serious about actually wanting to see the changes I proposed ("Braviary now has Lieutenant Surge" didn't tip you off?) and just wanted to see how they'd burn down the current system.

Is the only thing that might become broken with the change to Sand, and I'm not wholly convinced that it would be. Tyranitar still has seven weaknesses, mostly to Physical types, and no way to recover. Even if it does break the Armor Pokemon, Rock doesn't have a single Pokemon in Ubers outside of Arceus yet and Tyranitar was the first 'mon Smogon ever suspect tested so it getting banned would put some neat trivia bits to rest. Rock is still a bottom 2 type either way.

This change was more aimed at shaking up Doubles, where Intimidate is too powerful. In Singles this would mostly boil down to giving the Dragons you mentioned a better matchup against Landorus-T. It's also a flavor thing, since it doesn't really match the lore surrounding the type for them to be weakened by just a kitten showing its face, in addition to me just liking how Game Freak shook up type dynamics outside of straight matchups with things like Grass being immune to powders or Dark being immune to Prankster. Kinda thought someone would have complained more about the Fairy and Bug buffs, though. At least you could still Burn (most) Dragons.
