Big fat, bulky queeny who loses flight and is now grounded.

Ability: Queenly Decree
Bee guards protect Vespiquen from hazards and indirect damage.
(Magic Guard + Magic Bounce half and half. Status moves just hit a Bee guard and do nothing, while hazards are hurled back by the bees. Bees make an umbrella for hail. You get the idea.)
Implicit ability effect: Attack Order power increased by 1.3x

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 80 -> 115 (+35)
Def: 102 -> 132 (+30)
Sp. Atk: 80 -> 115 (+35)
Sp.Def 102 -> 132 (+30)
Spe: 40 -> 10 (-30)

Learns Stone edge, Ancientpower, Power Trip, and Quiver Dance.

I like this guy but it's a shame he has a times 4 weakness to psychic, especially for a series that likes to jerk that type off. at least there's anticipation.

although saying that poison type got a buff with the introduction of fairy, so it might fair a lot better now.

articuno would probably be decent too if gamefreak didnt fuck its stats in gen 2

Guzzlord isn't tanky, he's like those huge bosses that cover a great part of the arena but leave themselves open after every attack.

guzzlord really just has fairy and fighting to worry about.
Dark/Dragon has immunity to psychic, and resists ghost, grass, electric, fire, water and dark. Which is a nice set of resistances, especially in the lower tiers where there's a lot more special attackers and psychic types running around.

It's just that Guzzlord's stat distribution is bad.

Doesn't need a mega. Just make it But/Rock, add 20 points each, to both Def and Sp Def and give it Quiver Dance. A better ability like >>36764707 mentioned would also help alot.

As a reminder, Game Freak does not give a shit about a Pokémon's viability in either story mode or online battles, they are only in it for the money.

Is your favorite Pokémon in need of a signature move? Too bad.

Does your favorite Pokémon have stats so questionably shit that it seems to be deliberately done to favor another Pokémon? Too bad.

Does your favorite Pokémon have a shitty typing? Too bad.

Does your favorite Pokémon have a shitty movepool and that only ONE move it can learn is the only one worth using in battle for said Pokémon? Too bad.

Is your favorite Pokémon slower than Ledian, the worst Pokémon yet? Too bad (but will probably faint when you get a hit in so it doesn't matter).

Is your favorite Pokémon frail enough that it can't take a single hit?

Is your favorite Pokémon not worth using in online casual battles and completely irrelevant in Smogon or the VGC? Too bad.

Is your favorite Pokémon a laughing stock of its debut generation? Too bad.

Do you wish that a ROM hack will make your favorite Pokémon good? You'll have to hope for the best as it will probably stay as it is.

Game Freak will shill Lucario until it's no longer popular before your favorite is viable in online and competitive battles. Even then, it would just receive a +10 to special attack and nothing else and they will continue to dicksuck Pokémon like Greninja and Incineroar.

Nice digits. Gamefreak clearly knows how to make really good mons (Lando, Genesect, Heatran, Tapus, UBs, etc), but chooses to make shitmons for most things that aren't Legends, Pseudos or the few designated rarish power mons of the gen. This is really starting compound now that there are enough of these mons to build whole teams with. The only thing stopping OU from being 100% legend now is the lack of defensive legends. Another gen or 2 of Celesteelas will change that.
