Breeding is the only way to finetune IVs, Egg Moves, shinies and natures.

So, what are some other ways Pokémon could be made unique? I'll start:

Removing IVs seems like a lazier more ineffectual solution than allowing one to max them out in the post game....

>size and color and pattern variations
>Different eye colors? >Different lengths of fur or Tails?
>Bigger eyes? Smaller eyes?
>More regional formes? >Pokemon that are obtained only by cross-breeding?
>Type variations as a result of breeding?
