We don't know if there are any playable games in it yet but it was confirmed to be changed to an arcade instead of removed completely.

It's still a campaign with modern battle mechanics, i just want to do a kanto run with pokemon that have competent movesets and physical special split.

No items/abilities is unfortunate but it also might make a good or interesting new metta, maybe calm down on the hyper offensive shit and speed arms race.

Its the first hd pokemon game

Im pirating it though, even though im kind of optimistic. Wont be worth 60 dollars though

Dont have source, im phone posting, but gamexplain did an analysis video. They slots have been changed so they have cabinets and buttons akin to a traditional arcade

I feel like porygon at gamecorner is too nostalgic to not have some shitty new game type

Wild pokemon don't matter, they never did, they existed in the purpose of capturing pokemon, and grinding exp, and the latter actually hurt the gameplay. Removing wild battles is actually bringing them to their rightful purpose. The 151 Pokemons is actually a good decision, because post gen 1 pokemons have no place in Kanto only game.

I absolutely hate what Pokmon has become and how Masuda and whoever the fuck is making all these stupid decisions are ruining the franchise for older players.

I really hope LGPE will sell terrible so that they stop catering to a market that doesnt exist and never will exist so that they can finally focus on the older players who have been here for years.

But the sad thing is i still want to play it. I want to see how bad it is. I know i will have fun playing it, even if its just for a short period of time. Playing a main line game on a big screen in 1080p, even if its a shitty tile based Kanto again, would probably be cool, even if everything else sucks. 60$ is definitely too much and even at 20$ i would still feel bad for giving Gamefreak money for this terrible decision of a game, but i still want to play it. I wish i could just steal or pirate it.

The idea of "Master Trainers" who supposedly have reached supreme competency in both training and movepool with every single Pokémon in the Kanto dex (which requires major movepool expansions for Caterpie, Weedle, 'Karp, etc.) intrigues me. If GF puts the right restrictions on what you can bring to battle, or gives these "Masters" some bullshit that certain Pokémon species cannot obtain any other way, then I'd like it. Unfortunately that won't be the case.

Otherwise I ain't touching this shit with a pole long enough to reach the bottom of Death Valley.
