Hopefully one day they release the Capsule Monsters catalog or something as a small booklet, or as part of a bigger book about the development of the first two pokemon games. My main hope is a series of books documenting the development for each generation once pokemon is over, and my crack dream is a remake of red and green and gold and silver that are just fully realized versions of what they were originally going to be. If pokemon ever gets rebooted, I hope they choose to do that.
