There are also mons that are often shilled to death making a mild distaste for them turn into full hatred.
Having appealing Monsters, Cool and Cute is what makes Pokemon great in the first place. I don't mind some Ugly designs or weird ones here and there, I get it, Nature isn't pretty all the time. But you'd surely expect better from certain species.
I personally don't think any Pokemon should be retconed out of exsistance. Even the ones I can't stand. It'll be very unfair.
