Minimal Kanto Pandering, because keeping it at zero is impossible in today's era.
Good Pokemon designs

As a bonus, changeable arenas in Online Mode would bring diversity and more enjoyment to the game.

Have a good game where it's not constant interruptions or pointless cutscenes with npcs. Amazing postgame that appeals to casuals (so a good story, new places to explore) and also amazing battle facilties. Have the online not in a seperate location. Have legendaries in their own special location that actually require effort to get to, rather than walk in 'oh it's there'. Bring back catchable events/mythicals.

>if they don't want to give us a real postgame anymore, then add more content to the main game instead. jrpgs these days are usually 80-100 hours long and nobody complains. meanwhile, masuda somehow thinks 40 hours is unreasonable.
