Brand recognition is a very valuable asset. With it, you can get away with so much shit it's almost unfair.
I'm not criticising those who fall for it, we all do, even I fall for it when it comes to food or technology. But, as customers, we have the power to decide what we want to have, to spend our money the way we want, to send a message, to tell them "Your product is good, I will buy it.".
And, as long as I have control over my wallet, I'll continue to say "I want more Disgaea 5, not more LGPE."
Right now, it's only a matter of people realizing that and deciding what is, for them, worth their money.
