A.) The male parent can now pass off their pallete to the offspring. For example, male Pikachu + female Delcatty = Pikachu colored Skitty or Ditto + Beldum = Ditto colored Beldum (since Ditto is always the father in these things and the other the mother).
This would allow for a fair amount of customization given the number of things that can breed in each group without being random.
B.) Dress up that does away with natures and IVs as well as Hidden Power bullshit outside lore and a tutor via clothing enhancements for stat modifications akin to IVs and natures and even abilities.
This right here is how you make breeding less of a focus of the game. There would still be some random and time involved in encounters but in general you'd just be able to farm up what you need rather than playing the eugenics simulator 9000.
