You unlock a quest for getting a lucky egg once you beat the first 4 rounds, the rest just give you titles. They all have perfect I.V's and shit so it's not worth dealing with in gen 3 past the lucky egg unlock.

I accidentally beat it when I first got there.
My stupid kid brain thought new area with battles means I have to beat them all before being able to continue and since I didn't really pay attention to what the characters said either, I ended up playing through the rest of the game with a level 93 Espeon, Umbreon and Plusle afterwards.

Completely ruined by the fact that Colosseum trainers send out their Pokemon in a completely random order. When I fought him, he lead with both weather setters. Then I killed Groudon and weakened Kyogre enough that its water spout couldn't do shit. Then I just ignored the now-useless fish and swept his other Pokemon.
