I tried to use a Dragalge in an Ultra Moon nuzlocke. It was pretty bad. Too slow, not powerful enough, too frail because lol no HP, doesn't even resist Fairy, etc. Did basically nothing except get OHKOed on the first turn it was out against Kahili due to Toucannon's Z-move. Should have just used Naganadel instead.

First pokemon I caught in gold, and it won me the game by just barely surviving a fire blast from dragonite and sludge bombing it. Still proud of the spider.

But yeah, should at least have intimidate, sniper is fucking useless, even before critical hit nerfs

Serperior is useless in game. Does literally nothinG without cooling and all of its status moves are learned by ither Unova grass types. Simisage, Leavanny, and Lilligant are all better picks.
Serperior’s only purpose is to be Unovan Chikorita.

The design is amazing though? At first I didn't get it, I just thought wings=eyes.

But when you realise wings=eyes, and the eyes=nostrils, legs=whiskers, and the whole design is like the face of a cat... then it's way cooler.

Wish it was Bug/Water obviously.

I used one and boxed it halfway through. It just took forever to do anything. It takes a Coil or two to get anything that it hits for neutral in a 2HKO range even with level advantage while pretty much anything else with a 2+ attack boost would bulldoze anything that doesn't resist it.

Spinarak was pretty good in the early parts of my moon run.
Poison+infestation is a good combo and it helps that it as x4 resistance to Hala's pokemon

Superior doesn't even have status moves other than fucking leech seed.
Every other grass type gets leech seed plush sleep powder or stun spore.
It's fucking awful.

Amoonguss and Ferrothorn are the best Unova grass types, everything else isn't even close. But Overgrow Serperior is definitely the worst.

Weekly reminder that Game Freak doesn't care if your favorite Pokémon is not worth it outside of story mode because they made it shit on purpose. They act as if good stats, movepools, and abilities are too much of a good thing for anything other than the pre-designated special snowflake of the generation that Game Freak wants to dominate and centralize the VGC.
