I think Zekrom has the best tail of all pokemon. People don't realize how hardcore it is for a creature to have a literal generator as a biological tail.

I love Zekrom. He's a great Pokemon with a great design, but his tail does objectively have similarities to a butt plug.

I think the tail actually brings him down. Everything is in proportion until suddenly jet turbine. It's a case where the idea is nice but isn't worth the visual baggage.

i'm pretty sure that in gen 5 the tail was smaller, or at least looked better, 3D didn't do justice to his sprite

Reshiram, the truth pokemon uses fire, a crude, "true" form of propulsion while Zekrom the ideals pokemon would use electromagnetism, a more manufactured, "ideal" propulsion

Pretty much. It looked fine as a sprite than for some reason they decided to make it grossly long when they made its model.
Both Reshiram and Zekrom's models are complete garbage, especially since they never generate any fire/electricity in their idle stances like their sprites did.
