So I've been hearing that LGPE is gonna be the last game Masuda is directing but is it true? I mean if you knew that this was the last game you're directing wouldn't you want to make it good as opposed to just shitting the bed?

Probably not his absolute last game, but Ohmori's basically taking over for Generation Debut Games if SM's anything to go by, and Upper Versions, Remakes and Spinoffs will be handled by Masuda and various others.
