I see people throwing ghost typing and archery around often without even thinking about how the character can realistically use them in the game without becoming a completely new creature.
Decidueye has no ghostly features OR abilities, the only thing you can argue for it is phasing while dodging, something a good number of characters already do, including one of the Pokémon already in (Mewtwo), all of its ghost attacks are just normal attacks with purple effect, how can Shadow Claw function differently than a regular slash?
Archery doesn’t work either, forget the fact that it canonically has one Bow and Arrow move, an entire moveset around shooting arrows doesn’t work too well in a close combat kind of game like Smash, that’s why you see Samus preferring to attack up close with her gun arm, or how Pit got dual swords for Smash when he was exclusively an archer in his game, not even Pokken managed to capitalize on the arrows, Decidueye is more of a rushdown than a zoner there as well.
I’m not going to defend Incineroar too much since he wasn’t my first choice for Smash, but a heel wrestlers plays vastly different than a dragon, also while Charizard is angry, Incineroar is an asshole who laughs at you when you fall, that’s not the same personality at all, one last thing, a cool gimmick that was floating around regarding Incineroar is that he can get a temporary boost from the crowd cheers or even taunt a reaction out of them to self boost, that would honestly be amazing if it happened, I like characters who aren’t just command inputs.
