I don't agree with OP, since Blonde girls with pretty dresses are just popular things, but Sun & Moon seemed to more than copy from Cyber Sleuth, you had your shy girl who seems to avoid battling, her edgy brother who's part of an evil gang alongside a Goofy comic relief villain and an intimidating punk girl with pigtails, who are working for and betrayed by a organization that's run by the girl and her brother's mom who's secretly evil and plans on using Monsters from alternate dimensions that come out of wormholes to wreck havoc, ultimately defeating her and having a heart to heart moment with the girl and her mom, the climax of the story ends with fighting a mother figure of the alien creatures.
