However, XY can get mildly challenging at some points if you choose not to use all the OP stuff you're handed pretty much at the beginning of the game. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy XY is:
>keep exp share off at ALL TIMES>don't abuse o-powers (or don't use them at all)>don't use amie unless you really want a sylveon>don't use megas or at least stick to the not OP ones. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, box that lucario right away>don't use the box legendary (of course)The good thing about XY is that they have a huge regional dex, meaning there's a lot of potential comfy teams to use. The last time I played it, my team was:
>altaria>aurorus>pangoro>lunatone>granbull>magnetonIt was pretty fun (magneton got really powerful towards the end though).
The games still have a lot of other flaws (mostly that it's painfully evident that they are unfinished at times), but all in all are pretty comfy, imo.
