Well, knowing the first informations about Gen 8 will be revealed around March / April 2019, it's kind of normal that there's no hype yet

The instant I saw Route 2 in the reveal, I knew it would be shit. The low effort graphics, the fact it was kanto, everything was screaming "phoned in" in that moment.
