The games fine as a base
but really only thing to do is Story and online Multiplayer
no arcade mode,no unlockable colors for pokemon(cant even choose your color)

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Pokken Dx make it top 10 in the best selling nintendo switch games in 2018? because i remember seeing that. the only thing wrong with the game is the limited amount of characters really, that and being a port who gives people 5 characters most the fans of game played in the arch-aid and one new good pokemon. DLC was good too.

Switch didn't have that many games in 2018 and Pokken obviously ended behind the likes of Zelda, Mario or Splatoon 2.

Not a problem to reach Top 10 on brand name alone then.

It should‘ve been Tekken with humanoid/fighting type Pokemon, with secret techniques, combos etc. Similar to the old tekken/final fantasy hybrid on PS1 (Ehrgeiz?).
But instead they went full anime with the gameplay and roster, but we already have Smash for the over-the-top brawler, with Pokemon characters. So Pokken as of now is just redundant and overly complicated/flashy with a random selection of characters.

I don't get the hate desu.
I'll never be that good at a fighting game so I don't care about online and single player is fun cause I get to play as fighting Pokémon.
It's a neat game.
