Just beat 7th gym
Bought drastic on the play store and now I'm playing the DS games for the first time in my life
They are pretty good but it's a little too easy

It's a pretty standard Johto team. A good choice for a first timer I guess.
But HG/SS are pretty easy overall so you shouldn't worry too much about that.

I used an entire team of shitmons, with shitmons such as Corsola and Parasect, and the game is still easy. The only time I even had a modicum of challenge was against Lance, and that was only because he spams 3 Dragonites at you.

I trained a lvl 55 ttar, before the league. Stomped my way through and did the same with kanto. But red with his lvl 70s was really a huge faggot.

If you have a Heart Scale, you may want to look into Swinub, which you will find in Ice Cave. Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine w/Ancientpower, which you can only get via move relearner. Fortunately, you can find the move relearner in Blackthorn.

Skarmory in in the route below Blackthorn, but is fairly uncommon. Teddiursa is also in the same route.

Because you imposed that you want to use Johto mons only, others I would suggest would overlap with the typings you already have, and that I recommended some Pokemon that you will come into contact with very soon.
