>>36846639Eh, I'd rather not trade the Apricorn Balls, in case I do want to use them myself later.
Also, I don't expect to beat the game soon. The reason I'm after the Pokemon I am is to optimize catching Lunala. Yes, I know, there's a Cosmog post-game, but why waste a chance at a Perfect 5 IV (What would Lunala want ATK for? Foul Play & Confusion status are bad & Struggle seems unlikely.) Legendary Pokemon?
So I intend to catch a Perfect Lunala, but for now, I want to get a Wigglytuff, Noctowl or Glameow/Purugly to help out.
Those 3 specifically because Lunala's moves in this encounter are Shadow Ball, Moongeist Beam, Cosmic Power & Night Daze. All 3 of those species I'm after can put it to sleep somehow & are immune to Shadow Ball & Moongeist Beam. Glameow has Keen Eye, but Purugly is faster.
Wigglytuff has Ghost Immunity & resists Night Daze, but Sing is less reliable, especially with no Accuracy protection against ND. Also its speed is terrible, so I'd have to train it very high levelled if I want it to outrun Lunala. (In case a Quick Ball turn 1 doesn't catch.)
Lastly, Noctowl can outrun a bit easier, has Keen Eye to protect its accuracy, & has good Special Bulk.
If I had gotten the perfect Lunala I wanted already, I'd have gone & beaten the league ages ago. I'm only looking into optimizing it to speed it up slightly (Less KOs & damage to my team saves time.) while I wait on some Poke Pelago EV Training for my Synchronize 'mon (Without it, the odds for the right nature are horrible.) because I felt too lazy to do it with Festival Plaza or battling instead of waiting around 17 hours.
Sorry if I'm being unpleasant.
